Interruptions

Romance writer Arianna Dupre LaRoche has writer’s block, and her next novel “The Mistress of the Yukon” is past due. Editor Laura Rosenburg brings Arianna to her home on a Saturday morning to finish the novel without interruptions. “Arianna” is a pseudonym for Howard Weems, a frustrated wannabe writer of serious fiction, and he will do anything NOT to write another romance novel. Once Laura leaves the interruptions begin: a girl scout selling cookies, a professional boxer, a plumber, a pizza delivery boy, a missionary passing out religious tracts, a homeless woman, and the ever watchful President of the Homeowners Association. “Interruptions” is a face paced, door slamming, karate kicking, bottle breaking farce that delights audiences and has special meaning for anyone who ever wanted to “write the great American novel”.
